A great new alternative to those "rape-a-rainforest" decking timbers - made out of bamboo.
Bamboo is a fast-growing Asian hardwood. It is glued together into veneers, resulting in a very hard board that has been well-proven as an internal flooring material, so it should make a great outdoor timber as well.
